NTT Nissan adopts Nlapkhwane primary

NTT Nissan has pledged to donate sports kits and to buy 380 school bags and rulers for Nlapkhwane Primary School pupils.
Speaking during the school’s prize giving ceremony recently, NTT Nissan general manager, Mr Dominic Gombalume said following the adoption of the school by his company, they would give it the necessary support.
He said apart from sports kits, the company would also connect Internet in the school as well as at the kgotla. Two carpets would also be provided at Nlapkhwane pre-school. Mr Gombalume said they adopted the school to help the government in providing all the necessities to ensure the school attained academic excellence.
He said they would buy kits worth P15 000 for all sports codes to instill a sense of discipline on pupils through sports and to encourage team work.
Mr Gombalume also urged the community to help promote sports through community clubs and games.
For his part, NTT Nissan principal dealer, Mr Wikus Combrink congratulated teachers for their crucial role in delivering education as well as for contributing to the success of the pupils especially those who won prizes.
Mr Combrink also acknowledged the winners for reaching the milestone, saying it was only through hard work that made them to shine.
He quoted the late president of South Africa, Mr Nelson Mandela that “education is the most powerful weapon which one can use to change the world.” Teachers and parents were also encouraged to cooperate and work hand in hand for the betterment of the pupil’s future. Ends
