Botswana Angola deepen ties

President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama has left for a two-day state visit at the invitation of his Angolan counterpart, Mr Jose Eduardo Dos Santos.
The visit is expected to strengthen and consolidate the bilateral relations and bonds friendships that subsist between the two countries.
The two countries will discuss further cooperation and exchanges in the areas of energy and water resources, agriculture, transport and communications, wildlife and conservation. Furthermore, Angola is a potential market for Botswana products. Currently, Botswana exports beef and Blackquater vaccines to Angola.
The President and his entourage are expected back home on Wednesday (October 14).
