BlackBerry Jam Tour Africa comes to Botswana
11 Apr 2013
The first Blackberry Jam Tour Africa is scheduled for Gaborone on April 25.
According to a press release from organisers, the tour would be organised by the Blackberry Developer Group Botswana through Intellegere Holdings and supported by BlackBerry.
The release also stated that the event would be an opportunity for mobile application developers from Botswana to learn about the future of BlackBerry.
During the jam tour, developers would get the most in depth content on developing mobile applications for the game-changing BlackBerry 10 platform.
The BlackBerry Jam Tour Africa is a forum where local developers and the Blackberry Developer Group Botswana could share experience and knowledge.
This would encourage tighter bonds, open knowledge and information flow and advance mobile application developer potential within local developer community.
The BlackBerry Jam Tour Africa offered mobile application developers an opportunity to learn how to successfully develop and launch some applications for the new BlackBerry 10 platform.
Presentations would be led by Lelany Sommers, a senior business development manager (UK) and Michael Wetzel, a senior application development consultant (Africa). ENDS
