Poso card helps improve service
28 Apr 2014
A BotswanaPost official, Mr Cornelius Ramatlhakwane, says the post office offers a range of services including poso card, motshidisi funeral plan and poso cloud internet, among others.
He said this at the Hotel and Tourism Association of Botswana (HATAB) conference in Kasane on April 26. Mr Ramatlhakwane said BotswanaPost had stopped old people queuing in order to get their monthly grant by introducing poso card, which would enable the customers to withdraw their money at a desired time.
He said the postal service saw it fit for them to stop the “paint a finger” method as it drew the thieves to believe that the old aged had money, and in the process robbed them their income. Mr Ramatlhakwane added that by using the poso card, the pensioners’ money would be secured.
He also stated that they had a funeral plan in which the main member and partner could be from the age 18 to 64 years. Parent maximum entry is 75 years. Customers who want to join should buy the starter park at any post office no requirements are needed for one to join the scheme.
He added that the postal service also offered reliable, affordable enterprise speed internet activity and cloud solutions. The internet connectivity speed ranges from 1mbps to 10mbps and they also provide businesses with turnkey network solution within the office that is wireless and wired. Ends
