Ministry of youth phases out departments

The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture (MYSC) has phased out all departments that previously existed.
A press release from MYSC stated that the exercise would ensure implementation of its new “shared services” structure.
The ministry staff was grouped by major functions of Policy Development and Research, Policy Monitoring and Evaluation and Programmes Implementation. However, the Department of Corporate Services and the Botswana National Archives and Records would remain as they were.
The public, stakeholders and clients of the ministry were informed that it was against this background that all correspondence should be addressed to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture.
