Modipane crowned Miss Botswana

Magdeline Modipane emerged victorious in a night of glamour and stiff competition among 12 finalists to be crowned Miss Botswana 2026 in Gaborone on Saturday. The 25-year-old from Tonota impressed throughout the pageant, particularly in the evening gown and question-and-answer segments, marking a remarkable comeback after finishing in the Top 5 last year. Her journey was defined by resilience and growth, having secured multiple fast-track titles including Miss People’s Choice, where she made history with over one million votes. Judges praised her poise, elegance and articulation. Photos: Phenyo Moalosi
