India President state visit in pictures
President of India Droupadi Murmu embarked on a three-day state visit to Botswana from November 11 to 13, a first ever by an Indian Head of State in the 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The visit also comed ahead of thr 60th anniversary of Botswana-india diplomatic relations in 2026. President Murmu, among other things, held talks with President Advocate Duma, visited the Three Dikgosi Monument, toured DTCB and adressed the media. President Boko gifted India with 8 cheetahs under the Project Cheetah wildlife conservation initiative while India donated antiretroviral drugs to support Botswana's HIV/AIDS response.
