China grant Botswana P400 million support

President Advocate Duma Boko addressing the media in Gaborone on October 19, following his state visit to China. He said China had granted Botswana P400 million to support the education sector and equip learners with skills needed in a rapidly changing world. He also announced a P40 million grant for medical equipment and consumables to help address challenges facing the country’s health sector. In addition, he said China had deployed 46 doctors to assist Botswana. President Boko said Botswana was seeking long-term investors who could contribute to economic growth, industrialisation and the development of high-value services. ENDS
