The Walls Finest set for launch on September 19

From a farming enterprise to an emerging lifestyle destination, Great Wall Farm is taking a new direction as entrepreneur Ndinaye Chengeta seeks to redefine nightlife in Molepolole.
Chengeta is set to launch The Wall’s Finest, an entertainment and lifestyle showcase at the farm, situated between Molepolole and Thebephatswa Airbase on September 19.
The event is part of Chengeta’s vision of creating a relaxed social space for mature entertainment lovers, combining music, food, business and social interaction away from the conventional bar scene.
The Wall’s Finest follows two lifestyle gatherings hosted at the farm last year, Heaven on Earth and Heritage.
Heaven on Earth, held in August 2025, attracted trendsetters, creatives and lifestyle enthusiasts, while Heritage, staged two months later, celebrated African fashion, music and social interaction.
Chengeta said The Wall’s Finest was conceived in January this year and had since grown through partnerships with small businesses seeking opportunities to market their products and services.
“My dream is to unite people at The Wall’s Finest on Fridays and Saturdays over great music and great food in a relaxed atmosphere,” he said.
He said the concept was driven by what he considers a gap in Molepolole’s entertainment market, particularly for mature audiences seeking a more relaxed environment.
Although Molepolole has several entertainment establishments, Chengeta said many were centred on bars, while major cultural events such as Dithubaruba were seasonal.“I want to sell an experience, an affordable nice time with great food, nice company and nice music,” he said.
The launch will feature performances by Lera, Ashley Gops, 4DD, Dr Vom, Fizzy BW, Bunz, Mximbi, La DJ, Laputo and DJ Goffy, among others.
Beyond entertainment, Chengeta said the initiative was creating opportunities for the surrounding community. About 30 local people have been employed for the event, while several small businesses will showcase and sell their products and services.
The farm has also undergone further development, including the addition of a restaurant, an improved entrance and new seating areas as Chengeta works towards establishing it as a lifestyle destination.
He said about 1 000 tickets had already been sold ahead of Saturday’s launch.
In keeping with his vision of creating an inclusive experience, Chengeta said there would be no segregated VIP area.
“Everyone will be a VIP,” he said.Through The Wall’s Finest, Chengeta hopes to establish Great Wall Farm as a regular destination where people can enjoy music, food and company in a relaxed setting.ENDS
