Spin City Motor Events Management (MEM) in association with Robot Auto Electricals will host the first ever Bots Finest Auto Festival part 1 on Saturday, February 28.
The event will be held at the Game City Mall from 10am to 10pm. The auto festival which was launched at Game City mall in January this year, will draw car dealerships and car admirers from across the country and neighbouring countries such as South Africa. Spin city has also brought Speed and Sound magazine and Ignition television on board to cover the event.
The auto festival will feature many activities such as show and shine, Jap vs. German, all car and bike club displays, accessory and parts stalls, hottest car in Botswana pageant, pimp my ride, under-glow competition, exhaust rev competition and hottest chick of day challenge.
International Auto Sound Challenge Association from South Africa will manage bots sound off championship and dyno testing competitions. DJs will be there to provide entertainment and Vic from Mzansi Rides will be the MC of the day. Spin City event manager, Joseph Khenyere said the excitement and mood was high.
He added that people have registered in large numbers and they are still expecting more people to register before the event. He said they are expecting participants from Rustenburg, Zeerust and Mafikeng. He said 18 stalls would be displayed and photo booths will be available during the event.
“Batswana have registered especially for the sounds off challenge, they want to represent their country,” he said. He emphasised that people should come with their children because they will be provided with jumping castles, face painting, colouring competitions, play stations and remote controlled cars.
There will be overall championship winners at the end of the event. Winners will be given trophies and other prizes afterwards.
The tickets go for P80 before 4pm and P100 after. ENDS
