Too and Galeitsiwe are Orange Phikwe marathon champions

Lazarus Too of Kenya and Kefilwe Galeitsiwe are champions of the 2026 Orange Phikwe National Marathon, each walking away with P30 000.
The two claimed first position in the men and women's 42.2km marathon respectively. A total of 2700 runners participated across the 42.2km, 21.1km, 15km, 10km and 5km race categories.
Participants in the 2026 Orange Phikwe National Marathon receive their awards after outstanding performances across the various race categories, celebrating endurance, determination, and sporting excellence at one of Botswana's premier road-running events.
The marathon also features a para-athletics category, athletes with disabilities are showcasing remarkable determination, endurance, and competitive spirit alongside the rest of the field. ENDS
