Athlone refurbishment not in 201415 financial year

The construction or refurbishment of Athlone Hospital has not been accommodated in the 2014/15 financial year due to budgetary constraints.
Minister of Health, Dr John Seakgosing said in response to a parliamentary question on Wednesday, that the work was planned for in NDP 10 and would only be accommodated upon recovery of the economy.
The Member of Parliament for Lobatse, Mr Nehemiah Modubule had asked the minister to inform the house why the construction of Athlone Hospital was stopped and when it would resume. ENDS
