Uncharted Africa Safaris has donated medical drugs worth P200,000 to Gweta Primary Hospital.
The drugs include antibiotics, hypertension and diabetes drugs, among others.
Handing over the donation, company representative, Ms Phatsimo Khumalo said, as an entity operating within the communities in Gweta and environs, they found it crucial to extend a helping handing by purchasing essential medicines to help save lives.
Although the drugs were donated to Gweta Primary Hospital, she said they would be shared with other health facilities in villages of Tshokatshaa and Zoroga.
Appreciating the gesture, Gweta Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr Kakanyo Masalila thanked the company for their continued support and partnership.
Dr Masalila noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic era, the company came to their aid by repairing the hospital backup generator at no cost to ensure that there were no interruptions of health services during power outages. ENDS
