No dismissals at Athlone Hospital

No employee was dismissed from Athlone Hospital in Lobatse due to their participation in the 2011 industrial action, Parliament has been informed.
The Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Mr Gaotlhaetse Matlhabaphiri said on Tuesday that 130 were dismissed from the hospital due to their failure to obey a court order directing all essential services employees involved in the industrial action, to return to duty.
The minister was responding to a question from the Member of Parliament for Lobatse, Mr Nehemiah Modubule who had asked him to state the number of employees who were dismissed at Athlone Hospital due to their participation in the 2011 industrial action. ENDS
