BEC CEO Receives Teachers' Petition

Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) chief executive officer, Dr Moreetsi Thobega has, on Wednesday morning, received a petitioned from teachers over delayed payments for examination work carried out in 2025.
Receiving the petition, he promised that a formal response would be provided to the concerned teachers and invigilators next week Wednesday.
The educators, in their petition, said they had not been paid for marking and invigilation duties for the Primary School Leaving Examination, Junior Certificate Examination and Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education. ENDS
