‎The 6^th Gospel Music Awards, held at Ba Isago University Convention Centre on April 11, turned into a spirit-filled night to remember as Hosanna Gospel Choir emerged as the biggest winners.
‎The choir stole the spotlight, walking away with four major awards, including Best Gospel Group, Best Music Video, Best Album of the Year, and Best Song of the Year.
‎Over the years, their  performances and consistency have solidified their place as stars of the night.
‎Oher winners included Matheke Leteane, who claimed Best Traditional Gospel and Best Male Artist, while Shirleys took home Best Newcomer and Best Female Artist.
‎Evangelist Letso Mphela won Best Collaboration, and Joseph Rocky secured Best Gospel Single. In the Zion category, Tshepo Zion was recognized for Best Gospel Zion.
‎The awards also celebrated excellence behind the scenes, with Botsoma Botsoma winning Best Producer, while Psalmist Kevin took Best Gospel Packaged Album.
‎Speaking in an interview, one of the directors, Prophet Joel Keitumele, said the awards continue to celebrate gospel excellence while bringing together local and international artists through powerful collaborations. ENDS
