Debswana First Division South early pacesetters, Letlapeng is not under pressure despite other teams catching up.
Coach Tholeba Ntlhaga said this after watching his side play to a zero all draw against struggling Black Peril at the Tlokweng VDC Grounds on Saturday, February 22.He was optimistic that Letlapeng will go all the way to win the league and be elevated to the premier league.
Ntlhaga said there was need for his side to convert scoring chances, adding that they will work hard on scoring to improve their fortunes.“Black Peril is a good side, and in the first half they played to their opponents’ strength,” hence they could not attack as they wished, he said.
Black Peril coach, Clever Hunda said his team has improved and that he was optimistic they will soon start collecting maximum points. The much travelled coach said since arriving at the team about three weeks ago, there has been an improvement as they are able to create scoring chances.
“My marriage with this team is to make sure that I safe it, then I can sort it out for next season,” said the former Notwane and Police XI coach. The major problem affecting Black Peril, he said, is low morale from players but said he will motivate them. In other games played on Saturday, Mogoditshane Fighters continued with their good run as they thrashed Masitaoka 4-1, Prison XI beat Mochudi Buffaloes 2-0 and Killer Giants lost one nil to Rolling Boys.
Another title contender, Black Forest missed an opportunity to top the log as they played to a zero draw against Ghanzi Terrors. ENDS
