Tumisang Orebonye has urged players to be mindful of their lifestyle, saying drug and substance abuse as well as gambling can destroy their career and reputation.Speaking at a NICO United skills transfer master class workshop for the its players as well as students in the Selebi Phikwe sub-region, the Libya-based striker at Al-Shomooa emphasised the need for players to be mentally fit. Orebonye said they must strive to balance between football and life outside the pitch. He also urged them to stay away from platforms such as social media that could derail them if not used properly. He further encouraged players to believe in themselves and behave well because they were role models to the young ones. The aim of the workshop was to foster holistic development among sthe participants and provide them with essential life skills focusing on personal branding, sports development, health and financial literacy.
