From the vibrant heart of Mogoditshane township, Aron Kulube, better known by his stage name Sandoh, is carving out a unique space in the music scene.

Blending Afro-soul, Afro-beats, and Bolo house, his artistry is deeply rooted in the Shona language, yet enriched by the traditional rhythms of Setswana.

This cultural fusion, already evident in his recorded projects, defines his signature sound.

Sandoh’s musical journey began at Mogoditshane Junior Secondary School, recording at Kabo Kelebile alias Deejay KBlaze’s studio.

His path was interrupted in 2022 when he mourned the passing of his beloved grandmother, a figure he credits as the foundation of his identity.

 “I lost someone close to my heart, the person who made me who I am, my grandmother,” said Sandoh.

Grief muted his creative voice at that point, but resilience brought him back.

Supported by industry heavyweights Kopano ‘Berry Bone’ Boduwe, Presley ‘Prezz Beats’ Nhlapo, and Seane ‘Dj Skizoh’ Kgotshane, Sandoh reignited his passion, channelling everyday struggles and triumphs into lyrical storytelling.

 “My inspirations come from life’s ups and downs, the challenges people face daily. I put them on paper, then sing them into songs,” he explained.

On March 3, Sandoh released a double single with tracks, Chema Chete (Afro-soul), featuring Berry Bone and Tabona Maseko (TabonaMsk) and also Mamenemene (Bolo house), featuring Dj Skizoh Bw.

The title track, Chema Chete, meaning, ever crying, is a tribute to his grandmother and a balm for his grief.

Sandoh envisions international recognition, collaborations, and eventually his own record label.

 With confidence and determination, Sandoh promises more musical variety this year, alongside initiatives to uplift other creatives. His journey is not just about personal success, it is about building a legacy that bridges cultures and inspires resilience. ENDS
