UB has no secondary education diploma

The University of Botswana does not offer Diploma in Secondary Education Programme, Parliament was told.
The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development Mr Patrick Masimolole said the programme was discontinued more than ten years ago. Mr Masimolole was answering a question from the Member of Parliament for Gaborone Central, Mr Dumelang Saleshando who had asked the minister to state the number of students who graduated with Diploma in Secondary Education from the University of Botswana in the current financial year and applied for sponsorship to study Bachelor of Education. MP Saleshando also wanted to know the number of students who were granted sponsorship. ENDS
