Great expectation as Zebras take on Teranga Lions

Batswana will be glued to their screen with great expectation this afternoon when the senior national football team, The Zebras, take on Senegal in an AFCON Group D clash at the Tangier Grand Stadium in Tangier, Morocco.
The encounter, set to kick-off at 5pm, will mark the Zebras' return to Africa's showpiece tournament for the first time since 2012.
The Les Lions de la Teranga are one of the powerhouses of African football. Their strength is that their team has been together for the past four years and most of their squad ply their trade in Europe. The fact that they are a big team with big stars such as Sadio Mane might however motivate the Zebras to rise to the occasion.
Zebras midfielder Gape Mohutsiwa told journalist in Morocco that they had prepared well for the encounter and were ready to stamp their authority against one of Africa's best teams.
Striker Thabang Sesinyi pointed that starting preparations for the tournament early had given them enough time to do their homework on their opponents. What is left now is for players to follow the coaches instructions, he said. BOPA
