Eleven Angels in search for first win
16 Oct 2025
Eleven Angels FC will this Saturday look for their first win since the beginning of the season when they take on Tonota FC in the First Division North League at the Francistown City Council Stadium.
Angels are currently sitting on the last position with just one point after playing a total of five games. Speaking in an interview, Angels head coach Shepherd Seatlholo acknowledged the team’s poor run but noted that they would put up a good fight against Tonota.
He said the team boasts of a youthful squad and they would have to dig deep to get a result against highly experienced Tonota. Seatlholo highlighted that his team came from a 4-1 defeat against Sakonyo Bush Bucks in their last game, but was determined to get positive results.
Tonota on the other side will be on the look out for a win to continue challenging at the top. Currently, the team is on position two with 11 points from five games.
Coach Thaloba Nthaga of Tonota said his team was much prepared for the encounter, though the game would be a tough one as they would be against a team which was at the bottom of the log. He said as the new campaigners, they were taking each game seriously and intended to always get positive results.
Meanwhile, in other Saturday fixtures, Tshikinyega Tigers FC will take on Tsabotlhe FC at Tshikinyega Primary School Grounds in Mahalapye, JJ United FC will lock horns with BR Highlanders at Mmutle Primary School grounds in Sefhare, while Ndundu Young Fighters will be against Ferry Wonderers in a game, which will be played at VDC Grounds in Shakawe.
