CountMeIn campaign in full swing

Minister of Child Welfare and Basic Education, Ms Nono Kgafela-Mokoka (right) and Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary Education Support, Mr Labani Mokgosi during the launch of the ministry’s refurbishment of schools campaign dubbed #CountMeIn at Molefhi Senior Secondary School in Mochudi on Tuesday.
The campaign, aims to refurbish and maintain dilapidated school infrastructure across the country. The minister said the initiative currently targeted Form Five examination classrooms in 11 schools. She gave assurance that learning would not be disrupted, as the paint used was water-soluble and had a mild, non-intrusive odour. Ms Kgafela Mokoka encouraged broad participation, noting that those unable to contribute financially could offer their services in support of the cause.
