School head, Ms Mumsie Utlwang, said this year marked a milestone for the school, as it opened its doors in 2024 and now had its pioneer group of 87 pupils sitting for the national examinations.

She said six of the candidates were under the school’s special education programme, five of whom were assisted by readers and scribes, while one required extra time to complete the papers. Ms Utlwang said the school community took pride in supporting all learners to ensure inclusivity and equal opportunity for academic success.

Meanwhile, according to Ministry of Child Welfare and Basic Education, a total of 53 076 registered candidates will sit for PSLE this year.

The examinations, which started yesterday, will end on October 13. The results are expected to be released on the third week of December. ends
