Botswana and eSwatini men and ladies national netball teams participated in test series games held in Jwaneng over the weekend.
The two-day friendly tournament was part of the preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup in December.

The tournament concluded with a fierce clutch, which saw Botswana ladies winning with a narrow margin of 43-39 against their eSwatini counterparts.
Botswana Netball Association president, Mpopi Moatlhodi said the teams needed more support to continue with their preparation ahead of the Africa Cup.
She appealed to the business community to play a role in developing and growing sport in the country.
eSwatini Netball Association vice president, Philile Khathwane said they appreciated the opportunity to play against both Botswana teams,as a test to their team during the preparations.
She said as Africa’s current silver medalist, their men’s team performance during the series indicated that they were in good form to either defend their title or do better at the Africa Cup.
She also said their efforts to regroup the ladies team were bearing fruit, considering the decline in margins between the Saturday and Sunday matches. ENDS
