Ten ladies will on Saturday battle for the coveted Miss Independence Kgatleng 2025 crown.

The event promises glitz, glamour and entertainment with South Africa’s actor, Senzo Nqgobe set to the grace the event as guest of honour.

Celebrating 10 years of existence, 10 former Miss Independence Kgatleng queens are expected to attend the finale.

Their presence, according to the pageant director, Lebopo Bulayani would not only inspire this year’s contestants, but highlighted that the pageant sought to leave a legacy of nurturing women who continued to make an impact in the society.

In the run up to the grand finale, Bulayani said they had a boot camp on Friday, where contestants were trained and had team building and empowerment sessions.

The camp, she said was designed to prepare the young women not only for the stage, but also for life beyond the pageant.

She highlighted the importance of having a boot camp, saying: “We want to equip our contestants with confidence, communication skills, and the ability to work together as leaders in their communities.” ENDS
