A.T.I gifted superstar

President Boko described A.T.I as more than an artiste, calling him a ‘gifted superstar’ whose music and talent spoke to the soul of the nation. He said the music legend carried the spirit of Botswana in every lyric, performance and beat, inspiring generations and leaving a mark on the country’s cultural landscape. He said A.T.I’s artistry was a source of hope, pride and identity for the nation and that his loss was felt not only by his family, but by the nation as a whole. A memorial service was also held in his honour on September 2 to celebrate his life and contribution to Botswana’s music scene.
