Gumare breathe sigh of relief

Gumare Primary Hospital receiving a consignment of emergency medical supplies from Central Medical Stores yesterday.
The hospital pharmacist, Ms Gaone Isaka confirmed that the facility had been running low on essential drugs for hypertension, kidney conditions, eye care, diabetes, ARVs, among others.
Ms Isaka said she was hopeful that the resumption of fortnightly supplies would prevent future shortages.
Residents welcomed the delivery of medicine supplies, expressing gratitude to government for addressing persistent drug shortages.
Following President Advocate Duma Boko’s declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency on Monday, a four-step plan was unveiled to take command of the disruption of health supplies countrywide.
