Medical supply dispatch on

Following President Advocate Duma’s declaration of the State of Public Health Emergency, the first consignment of emergency medical supplies from the Central Medical Stores (CMS) left Gaborone on Monday to far flung areas, with the aim of replenishing critical stock shortages. In his address President Boko said the medical supply chain run by CMS had failed, which had led to severe disruption of medical supplies countrywide. He also announced the establishment of a Health First Botswana Partnership, a P5 billion, which the Botswana Development Corporation committed the initial investment of P100 million and a four-step plan to take command of the disruption of health supplies countrywide.
