Mall donates to paediatric ward

In an act of generosity, Debonairs Galo Mall in Francistown has donated five television sets and an assortment of toys to the paediatric ward at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital.
Hospital Manager, Mr Lyster Motlhono expressed gratitude, acknowledging the significant challenges faced by Nyangabgwe hospital and many others across the country. Mr Motlhono emphasised the critical role of private sector contribution in addressing challenges, adding that the donation would meet vital patients’ psychological needs during their hospital stays.
Ms Boineelo Lebala, Debonairs Galo Mall manager, said the aim was to assist those in need, noting that the donation served as a remind to all of the challenges faced by the hospital. She reaffirmed their commitment to continue offering support despite their own difficulties, recognising Nyangabgwe hospital’s vital role in the community.
Nyangabgwe hospital principal registered nurse, Mr Moses Kaudimba emphasised the comfort that the donated televisions would provide to young patients, while the toys would inject joy and a sense of normalcy into their hospital experience.
He said Debonairs contribution was a symbol of hope and humanity that would positively impact many children. Mr Kaudimba also underscored the necessity of donor support for promoting healthcare and well-being in the region. ENDS
