Style met soul this past weekend as socialite and businessman, Ndinaye Chengeta unveiled the first ever Heaven on Earth lifestyle event at his sprawling farm, The Great Wall located between Molepolole and Thebephatswa on August 9.

The debut gathering, organised by CBF Global, was nothing short of spectacular. With an expected 85 per cent female attendance, the event drew an impressive crowd of trendsetters, creatives and lifestyle lovers who came dressed to impress and they didn’t disappoint. From glamorous dresses and tailored suits to statement accessories, the fashion game was on full display.

Chengeta, who has recently been investing heavily in developing The Great Wall into a premium leisure destination, has added custom built entertainment spaces and attractions designed for picture perfect moments. His vision he said went beyond just throwing a party.

 “Heaven on Earth is not just an event it’s a statement,” Chengeta said. “I wanted to create a space where people can celebrate elegance, empowerment, and self-expression, while also enjoying the natural beauty of the farm. Seeing so many people embrace the concept for our first edition is truly humbling,” he said. One of the day’s most popular attractions was a striking angelic wings sculpture designed by one of Chengeta’s associates.

Long queues formed as both women and men posed against the scenic backdrop, eager to capture the perfect shot for their social media feeds.

For Gaborone based guest Masego Molefi, the event was a refreshing escape from the city’s fast pace. “It felt so laid back and stress free. The open space, the music, the people, it was exactly the breather we all needed,” she said. 

Another attendee, Tlotlo Kootswetse, was captivated by the farm’s beauty. “The angel wings were genius. You could see the joy on people’s faces as they took pictures. This place has so much potential I’ll definitely be back,” he said.

Guests enjoyed a vibrant programme blending exclusive experiences with non-stop entertainment from soulful live music to high energy DJ sets that kept the dance floor alive well into the night. The farm’s rustic backdrop paired beautifully with chic décor making for a truly Instagram worthy scene.
