Boko assures public of confidentiality and protection
07 Aug 2025
President Advocate Duma Boko has launched a Public Engagement Platform inviting members of the public to support the ongoing forensic audit into corruption, fraud, and embezzlement across government institutions.
Speaking at the launch in Gaborone this morning, President Boko urged citizens to come forward with any relevant information or evidence, assuring them of confidentiality and protection.
“Whistle-blowers and anyone coming forward with credible information will be fully protected,” he said.
The President further stated that the platform would accept submissions through email, phone, or post from August 7 to September 15. President Boko said this marked Phase Two of the forensic audit, which would focus on in-depth assessments of 30 pre-identified entities, following an initial risk profiling phase led by Alvarez & Marsal Middle East.
