Khama has not applied for land in Khawa - minister

Minister of Lands and Housing, Mr Lebonaamang Mokalake says it is not true that President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama has applied to the Kgalagadi Land Board for allocation of land in Khawa.
Answering a parliamentary question on February 11, Mr Mokalake said the Kgalagadi Land Board had not received such an application.
MP for Kgatleng West, Mr Gilbert Mangole had asked the minister if it was true that the President had applied to the Kgalagadi Land Board for allocation of land within the Khawa area.
MP Mangole also wanted the minister to state if it was true, the exact location and size of the land applied for, the intended use of this land, how the President got to know of the availability of this land and whether such information had been availed to other Batswana. ENDS
