South Africa’s renowned legendary house music DJ, Fredericks ‘DJ Ganyani’ Tshabalala is set to grace The Grand Palm’s 15^th anniversary 70s and 80s throwback party at the Gaborone International Convention Centre on Satruday. 

Alongside a regular and friend of this event, DJ O’Neal and Shaft People as well as other surprise acts, DJ Ganyani, with well over 35 years in the industry, will dish out old school house vibes taking attendees back in time. 

The event promises a variety of old school sounds varying from house, ballads, rhythm and blues, classics, funk, retro and disco genres. 

“We are beyond excited to mark 15 years of this legendary event. It is more than just a party, it is a beloved tradition,” said Malebogo Motlaleng, marketing manager at The Grand Palm Resort. 

Motlaleng said this year’s event was dedicated to the loyal customers who made the event what it was today. 

“We are enhancing the experience with improved comfort, better seating around the venue, and faster, more efficient service to cut down those long queues,” she said. 

The dress code for this event is Iconic 70s & 80s Celebrity Glam, and patrons are expected to impersonate their favourite 70s and 80s celebrities to impress in true vintage style for a night that promises pure nostalgia. ENDS
