Maintenance at Lempu Junior Secondary School will be carried out in the 2015/2016 financial year, says the Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development (MOESD), Mr Patrick Masimolole.

Answering a question in Parliament on February 4, Mr Masimolole said the last maintenance at the school was done during the 2005/2006 financial year.

The assistant minister noted that cycle maintenance in all the schools was carried out after every year, while preventative maintenance is carried through the use of craft improvers, which was the case even at Lempu Junior Secondary School.

He told Parliament that learners at brigades were also involved in the exercise and in case of emergency maintenance to be carried, there would be always provision through the regional office.

The Member of Parliament for Letlhakeng West, Mr Ngaka Ngaka had asked the minister to state when maintenance at Lempu Junior Secondary School would be carried out.

MP Ngaka had also wanted the minister to state when the last maintenance was done as well as frequency of maintenance at the school. ENDS
