Choppies Botswana gives back

In a bid to improve lives of its customers, Choppies Botswana has rewarded 101 customers with cash prizes and vehicles through its corporate social responsibility initiative.

Multitudes flocked to Game City Mall on Wednesday to witness the much-anticipated Choppies Bonanza Grand Finale Draw.

In an interview,  Choppies Head of Marketing, Mr Kebonyemodisa Kebonyemodisa revealed that the 21st edition of the competition awarded prizes totaling P11 million.

Among the winners, 101 lucky customers walked away with P10 000 each, while four regional winners drove off in Toyota Hilux vehicles. The ultimate prize of a Land Cruiser 300 was claimed by Nelton Sankoloba.

“The competition started in 2003 and has been running for 21 years. It aims to alleviate poverty and improve the living standards of Batswana. This year’s competition began on October 17 and concluded on December 25. It serves as a token of gratitude to our clients for their loyalty,” explained Mr Kebonyemodisa.

The four Toyota Hilux winners were Thato Thebe, Koketso Nkawana, Pako Mmualefe, and Kagiso Moathudi.

Sankoloba, the grand prize winner, was overwhelmed by excitement as he received a phone call announcing him as the Land Cruiser 300 winner.

Balete Paramount Chief, Kgosi Mosadi Seboko graced the event and officiated the spin-off draw for the ultimate prize.

Mr Kebonyemodisa urged customers to remain vigilant against scammers and to verify any competition-related claims thoroughly to safeguard their hard-earned money. ENDS
