Nico defeat Orapa

Nico United beat Orapa United 1-0 on January 19 at Selebi Phikwe Stadium in a be Mobile Premier League encounter.
Gift Moyo scored the goal a few minutes before half-time. Khumoetsile Kufigwa created the goal scoring chance after his indirect free kick hit the goal posts only to find the unmarked Moyo, who reacted swiftly and tapped the ball into the net.
The match started off with Nico dominating proceedings and mounting pressure on the boys from the diamond mining town. However, though they had an upper hand in the game, the copper -nickel mining town boys failed to convert numerous chances that came their way.
The teams went for recess with Nico leading by one goal. In the second stanza, Orapa United tried to come back into game and coach Dominic Changwe made a couple of changes to boost his midfield and this paid off.
The Orapa team managed to push forward and unsettle Nico United. The boys from Orapa also created a number of goal scoring chances, but failed to convert. Nico United also pressed forward on numerous occasions, but failed to find the back of the net and this left coach, Kenneth Mogae frustrated.
In some instances, Nico players were guilty of finding themselves in front of the goal line, but failed to tap in when given the opportunity. They either hit the ball wide or over the goal posts. The game ended 1-0 in favour of Nico United.
In another be Mobile encounter that took place at Selebi Phikwe Stadium on Friday night, FC Satmos thrashed Motlakase Football Club 2-0. Both goals were scored by leading be Mobile marksmen Patrick Kaunda.
Kaunda scored the first goal 10 minutes before half-time and the second came in the 55th minute. ENDS
