Jwaneng team wins bowling tournament

The quartet of Charles Diteko, Mpopi Pelemo, Joseph Koorotse and Annah from Jwaneng Bowling Club was on Sunday crowned the 2024 SRR Bowling Tournament champions.
Named The Imposters, the team triumphed over 15 other teams from Botswana and South Africa with 45 points and 47 shots to walk away with a trophy, medals and P12 000 prize money. Selebi-Phikwe’s Team Spotted came second with 39 points and a shot difference of 32 to get P8 000 prize money and silver medals.
The defending champions from Gaborone Bowling Club, Thakadu, came third after garnering 36 points with 28 shots and walked away with P4 000 and bronze medals. Ends
