Francistown Spin City extravaganza is no stranger to exciting entertainment in the spinning world.

This Saturday (September 28) is set to be another one for the books as the Spin Feista will be taking the capital by storm. One of the organisers of the event, Kennedy Sibanda said this year’s spin has attracted spinners from neigbouring South Africa and Zimbabwe.

“We have three spinners from South Africa and two from Zimbabwe and this makes this year’s event totally different from the previous ones,” said Sibanda.

He said there will also be some kid’s entertainment such as jumping castle as well as food stalls. Some of the notable king of spins from Botswana include the King of Spin, Goitseone Leepile aka “The General”. He will spin alongside other young spinners and they are ready to rock the emerging motor sport event which has been in non-action for the past two years.

Others who will be entertaining the crowd will be young spinners in the likes of Mothusi Alfred also known as King Joe, Thabang Phiri (Bosphiri), Thabo Mudongo aka Timpower, his brother Thuso Mudongo (Vmud), Steven Given aka “Ghetto Child”, as well as renowned spinner, Kagiso Nkwebi, known as the “Magistrate.”

Sibanda  said what was very interesting was that they had brought in young spinners in the industry who would be facing the veterans in one-on-one battles. He explained that the crowd should expect an exciting entertainment from the performers. He said the doors to Francistown Spin extravaganza would open at 1000hrs and the spinning will last until 2300 hrs. ENDS
