AFM stages business forum
10 Sep 2024
To drive citizen economic empowerment, the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) church has planned a business forum at its Gaborone branch scheduled for September 14, 2024.
According to a press release from the church, the forum is in alignment with the government’s effort of driving citizen empowerment by fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the populace.
The release further states that the forum is an opportunity for like-minded individuals to come together, to share insights and explore avenues for building sustainable businesses that could stand the test of time while making a positive impact in the society. It also stated that a series of speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities have been designed to inspire and equip attendees with knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of modern business. It further states that organisations and individuals are encouraged to partner with the AFM in the initiative, contributing to the development of a space that would benefit both the church and the wider community.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, offering partners an opportunity to be part of a transformative project that aligns with the values of sustainability, community development and long-term impact.
The release further states that the proceeds of the forum would be channeled towards construction of a national conference centre, a significant project envisioned to serve as a hub for future church and business events alongside other community initiatives.
It also states that the facility will not only be a landmark for the AFM but also a valuable resource for the broader community, providing a space for various activities aimed at fostering both spiritual and economic growth.
Tickets are sold at P300 and are available at all AFM branches in and around Gaborone. ENDS
