Businessman donates to families

Eighteen needy families in 18 villages of Tswapong North constituency will receive beds donated by Nirali Enterprise in Lerala.
The owner of Nirali Enterprise, Mr Chirag Shah, said when handing over the donation to MP for Tswapong North, Mr Prince Maele, that his mission was not only to make profit but to help the community that supported his business.
Mr Shah said he would also sponsor prizes for standard seven up to form three students who perform outstandingly in the villages of Tswapong North. He urged parents to actively participate in their children’s education by ensuring that students performed well in their respective schools.
He said the intention of his support was to motivate students to improve their performance and at the same time help the government in its effort to have an educated and informed nation by 2016. Thanking Mr Shah for the donation, Mr Maele said his constituency had many poverty stricken people. He said the donation would put a smile on beneficiaries in the 18 villages under his jurisdiction.
Mr Maele said his office was going to work with the Department of Social and Community Development to help identify the right people to have these beds. He added that Mr Shah had set a good example to the business people in Lerala.
“We know you did this not because you have a lot of money but because of love,” he said.
He also commended Mr Shah for creating employment for the youth in Lerala, adding that Tswapong had business opportunities and as such Mr Shah could consider expanding his business to other villages in the area. Such an expansion would the economy of Tswapong and create jobs. ENDS
