Una Sell drops eight track album

Contemporary folklore musician, Unami Selelo, known by stage name Una Sell, is set to drop an eight track traditional contemporary music album titled Kgang tsa kwa Mabiletsa.
Una Sell, popularly known for hit tracks such as Ke mang which features A.T.I and Ikgabetse said her upcoming album would be unveiled tomorrow and was produced by Dlala Billions at TRS music studios in Serowe.
“All the eight songs were inspired by a woman who tells her side of the story about situations she encounters in her everyday life,” said Una Sell.
The album eight track album features Dithotho, an emotional song narrating the life of a Mongwato woman full of doubt.
In an interview, Una Sell said the album would also feature one of her singles already enjoying airplay of the local media airways Ntshiele gape.
Ntshiele gape, she said talked about a woman who enjoyed drinking water she draws from her neighbour’s house and believed it was the best water she had ever tasted.
Other than releasing the album, Una Sell said she had shot videos of two of the songs from the album being Marabele and Tsotsi and were available for uploading from YouTube.
The musician who also doubles as a stage theatre actress said her song compositions were inspired by imagining of scenarios and putting them into paper to make a song. The songwriter and contemporary folklore musician kick-started her first solo music career in 2017 with a debut single track titled Ikgabetse.
In 2019, Una Sell became a household name when her song titled Ke mang which featured A.T.I. dominated the airways.
The song won a BOMU award for best collaboration in 2021. However, Una Sell went solo for the new project, as she did not feature any artistes. ENDS
