Ministry fills institutional vacancies

Of the 79 teaching vacancies in all vocational institutions, the Ministry of Education and Skills Development has filled 23 teacher entry positions from the Botswana Labour Observatory Market. Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Aubrey Lesaso also said there was currently an exercise to fill a further 29 vacant senior lecturer and 27 head of department positions.
He added that the exercise was at an advanced stage and expected to be completed by March 31.Member of Parliament for Selebi-Phikwe East, Mr Kgoberego Nkawana had asked the minister when the ministry would fill all the vacant teaching positions in all vocational institutions as it was currently happening in primary and secondary schools.
