Ms Dimpho Rabasimane won herself a brand new Mercedes-Benz C200 in the recently concluded 20th edition of the Big Birthday Bonanza competition, courtesy of Choppies.

She was announced as the winner on Friday after purchasing products worth P69 from Molapowabojang Choppies.

Five other lucky winners, Kagiso Tshekega, Masego Moshokgo, Taita Tjaja, Constance Mabilo, and Onneile Keaboletse, each won a brand new Nissan Navara, with the luckiest winner having bought only a can of coke that amounts to P9.

Furthermore, ninety-seven more lucky customers pocketed themselves P15 000 cash prizes each.

The competition ran from  October 18 last year until January 6 this year and required the customer to be 18 years and above, have an Omang card, and for foreigners in possession of valid passports and staying in Botswana.

In an interview, Choppies Marketing and Public Relations Officer, Mr Kebonyemodisa Kebonyemodisa, stated that the competition was a social responsibility initiative aimed at improving the lives of Batswana.

“This competition is a way of showing appreciation to our customers and improving their lives,” he said.

He continued to state that the competition required a customer to buy any of the participating products, and they stood the chance to win the grand prizes regardless of the amount they used to purchase the products. ENDS
