Tonota West not in TNDP

Due to budgetary constraints resulting from national competing priorities, Tonota West is not included in the ongoing 2023-2025 Transitional National Development Plan (TNDP).
Answering a question in Parliament on Wednesday, Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Mabuse Pule said the Ministry was, however, aware of the need to upgrade village infrastructure components of Tonota West and other deserving villages across the country.
He, however, said his Ministry through the Tonota District Council had prioritised Tonota West village infrastructure implementation for consideration in the coming 2025-29 NDP 12. The MP for Tonota, Mr Pono Moatlhodi had asked the Minister if there were plans to avail village infrastructure component in Tonota West. ENDS
