There are eleven vehicles at Kang roads depot, eight light duty vehicles and three trucks, says Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi.

Responding to a question in Parliament on behalf of transport and communications minister, she said there were also three graders and two tractors.

She said seven vehicles were at CTO under breakdown, three trucks and four light duty vehicles, two graders are also under breakdown and both tractors are under breakdown and two trucks have been boarded.

The minister said there had been no replacement for the two boarded trucks and the depot was operating with only one truck which was alternating between Tsabong depot and Kang depot depending on where it is mostly needed.

MP for Kgalagadi North Mr Phillip Khwae had asked the minister to state the total fleet of vehicles and equipment at Kang roads depot, number of vehicles waiting for repairs and those that have been boarded and their replacement. ENDS
