TS Galaxy Queens eye Gaofetoge Dithebe

South African club, TS Galaxy Queens, has shown interest in two Gaborone United (GU) players; Keitumetse ‘Ben-10’ Dithebe and Lone ‘Motsadi’ Gaofetoge.

The duo joined Gaborone United this year and have played a crucial role in the team’s good performance in the division one women’s league.

GU liaison manager, Owe Mmolawa, confirmed that the two players were in TS Galaxy Queens’ wanted list.

“We won’t stand in any player’s way in case they have found greener pastures  especially from foreign clubs,” he added.

Mmolawa, however, said they would jealously guard against their players being exposed to bad conditions.

Consequently, he said Gaborone United would scrutinise TS Galaxy Queens’ offer.

“If we agree on the terms, then we will let them go and play in a professional set-up and grow as football players,” he said.

Mmolawa said their move to TS Galaxy Queen would also benefit the national team given that they would use facilities of high standards.

“We need more players to ply their trade outside the county. The country will then stand a good chance to qualify for major events,” he said.

For her part, TS Galaxy Queens manager, Christa Kgamphe-Jane, said she was not aware that the team had interest in two Botswana players, adding that should there be any discussion concerning the two players, it would be communicated.

Although Kgamphe-Jane has denied knowledge of the intention to sign the two players, there has been a communication between the two teams, something that GU confirmed.  ENDS
