Motlakase secure maximum points

25 Nov 2013

A solitary goal by Evans Mwanza helped Motlakase Power Dynamos to secure maximum points against Tafic at the Francistown stadium on  November 23.

Mwanza gave his side their only goal of the game on the seventh minute, after he made a breakthrough from Tafic defence who immediately at the start of the encounter cornered their visitors in an attempt to get an early goal.

Tafic countless attempts in the first few minutes of the game failed to bear fruits for them to take an early lead. Motlakase regrouped from the middle of the park to give support to their top man, Mwanza who upon receiving the ball shot at goal to shake the net to the dismay of the hosts.

In an effort to level matters before it was too late for them, Holiness Mlilo of Tafic got in behind  Choukachouka defence but was denied by the goalkeeper Kagiso Rankabekwa on the 15th minute who was outstanding in his saves to deny Tafic any chance of securing an equaliser.

On the 31st minute, aging defender Chakadza Pharo’s free kick almost a few yards from the box was guided off target by the two men wall routing the ball off target to the relief of Motlakase technical bench as pressure was mounting on them.

Calling for focus on the ball was Oris Radipotsane, the head coach from his seat as his players were frequently caught ball watching hence allowing Witness Livingstone and Kealeboga Molebatsi ample space to make moves at unguarded areas.

Coaching from outside, Darlington Dodo had to come closer to the fence to issue orders but it was already too late for his side which had missed numerous chances. ENDS
