Kanye has labour office

Kanye has a labour office that started operating in 2003, Minister of Youth Sport and Culture, Mr Shaw Kgathi has said.
Mr Kgathi, who was responding to a question on behalf of the Minister of Labour and Home Affairs, told Parliament that the office was housed at Rural Administration Centre.
He said the office had limited space and as a result, the functions undertaken by the office had been scaled down to exclude the registration of job seekers, of which the service was offered at Lobatse.
He said efforts to get additional office space were continuing. Kanye North MP, Mr Kentse Rammidi, had asked the Minister of Labour and Home Affairs if he was aware of the absence of a labour office in Kanye and that job applications were made at Lobatse office. Ends
