Boteti Sub-district is implementing 237 development projects through various programmes.

This was revealed by Boteti sub-council chairman, Mr Molemi Galeragwe during the third sub-council session held in Letlhakane Friday.

He said projects under implementation included destitute housing, Remote Area Development Programme, Ipelegeng, Economic Recovery and Transformation Plan, Constituency Community Projects and Rakops stadium among others. Cumulatively a total of P189.7 million (P189 741 208) he said, had been disbursed and expenses stood at  P140 9 (P140 926 808.) which translated to 74 per cent. Mr Galeragwe said 196 out of 237 projects were completed, which translated to 83 per cent whilst 27 were ongoing at various completion stages and 14 under Constituency Community Projects for 2022/23 financial year were yet to commence.

He said funds amounting to P20 000 000 for implementation of 2022/2023 Constituency Community projects had been disbursed during the month of July 2022. On another note, feedback to the community on approved Constituency Community Projects as well as confirmation for release of funds was done in August this year.  ends
